WELCOME TO MOHINDAR SINGH KABAL SINGH DEGREE COLLEGE OF ARTS, COMMERCE KALYAN (WEST)

Mohindar Singh Kabal Singh Degree College of Arts and Commerce were established in the year 2003 by visionary honorable Mohindar Singh Saini, Former Chairman of Mohindar Singh Kabal Singh charitable Trust, Kalyan. The college is on permanently No-grant basis. It has been granted minority status on linguistic basis. The college has its own building and a common playground which is used by School and College. The college is in the close proximity of Kalyan railway station and bus stand. The college aims at providing quality education and turning its students as responsible citizen. The college is duly approved by the government and is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. Students from nearby villages enroll in the college.

All round development of students is one of our objectives and accordingly necessary steps are taken by the college. Besides, traditional Degree in Arts and Commerce discipline, the college has also started three years professional integrated program leading to B.Com Degree in Banking and Insurance to meet the ever increasing demand of this sector, under commerce Umbrella.

The institution has a system of centralized administration with decentralized responsibilities, thereby grooming leadership at all levels. The faculty and management are actively involved in preparing the institutional academic plans.

The majority of the students in the college belong to middle and lower middle class. The college offers installment facility for payment of college fees. Freeship and scholarship are given to learners as per the guidelines provided by the government of Maharashtra and Central Government. The college has local managing committee which takes care of academic and financial needs of the college through college governing body. The role of IQAC is such that it takes proper care of Vision and Mission statements. It focuses on achieving all round development of students; it is evident from the facts that, our university result are on par with any other established college in the area.

For total personality development of the students, the college conducts various extracurricular activities. For slow learners, the college takes special care to see that the students come up on par with regular students.

We, in  M.K.DEGREE COLLEGE , continually remain dedicated to the cause of higher education, there by catering to the diverse needs of the students and enabling them to develop  as socially – responsible citizens ready for constant and qualified growth.
